LeafLink
Custom ESP32-S3 hardware, a Flutter app, and Firebase sync — tracking soil, light, and temperature in real time, from bare metal to App Store.

From bare hardware to App Store-ready — I designed and shipped a complete IoT product that monitors everything a plant needs to thrive. LeafLink is a smart device that tracks soil moisture, light intensity, air and root temperature, humidity, and fall detection in real time. When conditions go out of range, the user's phone knows immediately — before any damage is done.
I owned every layer of this product. I wrote the embedded firmware for a custom ESP32-S3 board, engineered low-power deep sleep cycles to stretch battery life to weeks, and built a seamless BLE pairing flow that works reliably across iOS and Android. On the backend, I architected a Firebase infrastructure with real-time Firestore sync and cloud-triggered push notifications for every configurable alert threshold.
The Flutter mobile app gives users a premium experience: instant device pairing, per-sensor alert customization, historical trend charts, and a photo timeline to track their plant's growth over time. Firmware updates push silently over the air — no user action needed.
